Tomorrow is a big day. I decided to launch a podcast. ⁣
⁣
I’ll explain it all tomorrow on the podcast, but there is going to be a main theme. A lot of us feel like we want to create something , do something amazing, and/or do something to serve other people . BUT DOING that ’something’ takes ⁣
⁣ ...money. ⁣
⁣
⁣
AND that's what I want to talk about because money can be such a fascinating hot topic. ⁣
⁣
👉🏻Some people think it's slimy.⁣
👉🏻Some think it's bad.⁣
👉🏻Some worship it.⁣
⁣
I see it as the thing that we need to help us get to our thing...whatever that thing is that we desire.✅⁣

...to adopt a baby.⁣
...to help our aging parents get a nurse so they can live a more comfortable life.⁣
...to buy something shiny.⁣
...to buy food.⁣
⁣
No matter your view on money, it's something that we have to have to afford to live our dreams. ⁣
So I'll be diving into topics like:⁣
✅how to create money, ✅building a business around your life, ⁣
✅marketing to help ya get that money, ⁣
✅how to charge more so you can serve your customers better, ⁣
✅and what to do with that money once ya got it! ⁣

I'll be inviting others on as well to find out what they have done as well to create money to afford to live their dreams. So get ready to take notes!!⁣

I’m not, going to lie...I'm kinda nervous (like sick to my stomach nervous) about this launch. ⁣

Does my tone come off right? ⁣
I noticed my voice cracks in episode #1...will anyone else? ⁣
Will I publish it correctly?⁣
Do I have spelling errors in the show notes?⁣ Ya know....all the things that no one even notices (except the person who’s doing it). haha. ⁣

New things push you into uncomfortableness and that's where I'll be until I get this thing launched and wait for the reviews come in.

Happy Birthday to US!! 🎉🎉
Ten years ago today, we launched a little blog while sitting at the local Carl’s Jr. while our 11 kids played in the play area.
We decided to call it HowDoesShe.com. Shelley, Missy, and I each scraped up $125 and put it in the pot. It was hard for us to come up with that money, but we figured it out.
We didn’t know what we were doing, but we just started. 💛

This little blog...this little investment...the little dream...has turned into a multi-million dollar company all because we wanted to see if we could. 💛

I am so grateful for these women. 💛

We’ve cried together, bickered together, loved together, saved for retirement together, and figured out how to create something we are dang proud of together! 💛
So for heaven's sake, if ya wanna start a business, you should. Even if you don’t know what you are doing and a bajillion kids at your feet. You figure it out step by step. 🤩

I kinda like that he can’t ever keep his eyes open in pictures...except during family pictures than it’s a pain.
5-month update in Puerto Rico.
1. Kids are in school, and their class size is 15. That’s a big difference from exploding class sizes they were in Utah.
2. I’m still learning that traffic laws are a suggestion (as I’m watching the right shoulder being used by a car as a fast lane). 3. We don’t run to the beach as much as we thought we would. 🤷🏻‍♀️
4. We’ve firmly been told by a local we must learn Spanish. Funny thing, we are really trying! AND FYI...Abuela doesn’t mean house. 😬
5. Halloween can be done in flip flops as you drive a golf cart, and the kids run house to house.
6. I’m pretty sure I’ll always have a farmer’s tan, and I’m okay with it. We ran to the beach when this pic was taken, and it was closed, so we went to a local restaurant and shared a virgin piña colada with El Niño’s 👧🏻👧🏻👦🏼👦🏼
